As some of you may know, we do all our development for RocketDock and UberIcon on our Macs with the use of virtualizing software. PolyVector is currently using Parallels, but more and more I have been hearing that VMWare Fusion is a better way to go. I went ahead and registered for a trial serial this morning and installed Windows XP. While VMWare Fusion has just recently gone final, I think it works quite nicely. I don’t have enough RAM to run a virtualized Windows install without sacrificing OS X to slow down a little, but Windows ran fine. We are thinking of making a switch after we visit California in September.

VMWare Fusion is better because of the NAT support and the Unity function which Parallels doesnt have. VMWare Fusion is in its full version 1 now so go nuts!
Parallels does have Unity, it is called Coherence. Works just the same. NAT support is also the same.
Man, you gotta learn to read up before saying stuff.
Our decision for switching to VMWare is because it runs faster and seems to be more stable. Both programs though offer the same in features and OS install options. The only thing that would put VMWare over the fact that it has been around longer and all images work across the board for their products.
