I thought I would share this with our adoring fans. It gave PolyVector and me a laugh, especially since “they” cheated. The E is upside down. Either way, funny stuff.

A little bit ago I was talking about the possibility of PolyVector and myself switching to VMWare Fusion instead of sticking with Parallels Desktop. After some extensive testing we found out a few interesting things. VMWare Fusion was working fine on my Mac until I started getting into network shares. PolyVector had an awful time working with VMWare on his MacBook. It would continuously slow down and freeze during every start of the virtual machine. So after some careful consideration we have decided on the following setups for each, PolyVector will continue to use Parallels (we bought it so why not continue to use it), and I will be using Boot Camp for the added bonus of having a completely native install of Windows for testing. The only downside of my own setup is that I can only have one copy of WIndows installed at a time. Hopefully the finally version o Boot Camp will allow for more than one copy of WIndows installed on a single hard drive at a time.
PolyVector was talking to me the other day about how the Atomac’s theme was getting on his nerves. I admit that its charm has deteriorated the more I work on the site. While neither of us are designers that meant I had to go out looking for a tolerable theme for us to use. This is a harder task than one might think, so much junk out there, especially in the world of WordPress. After looking at my 100th whatever theme I finally decided Atomac needed to grow up and have a much more minimal look. I finally stumbled upon Pop Blue 3 Columns at Blog Oh Blog. Once I got it setup PolyVector was content and I was feeling much more at home with our new look.
If you have any questions or comments please feel free to express those. In the event anything is out of place or not working we would like to hear about those as well.
The only good thing about waking up at 5 AM is the fact that we will be the first at the store to pick up our copy of Metroid Prime 3 today. After all the hard work that has been going on the past week I think we deserve a little game time. This will probably just prepare us for Halo 3 next month as well. After watching all the videos available on the Wii Metroid channel it really seems they are trying to take Metroid towards a more Halo type game play. Of course only really being able to play through will tell us for sure if this was what they were going for. Don’t expect to see much of us for at least the next thee days as we play through. Perhaps afterwards I’ll have a review.
Update: Well, we went to both Target and Wal-Mart this morning and neither of them were carrying Metroid Prime 3. We even asked the Game clerk…So we are stuck without Medtroid till one of the two stores decides to carry it. The only other game place around here is a Game Stop that is currently closed due to some weird mall remodeling. This town was not meant for the tech/gaming nerd.
Wow, the last few days felt like they didn’t exist. i guess that is why I never gt around to posting. We are trying to get our hours back to “normal” and it really hasn’t been working. We are still successfully not drinking soda, so the problem isn’t related to caffeine. Its funny, but just being up during the day makes me tired. PolyVector has been experiencing the same thing. Sometimes I just think we are supposed to be nocturnal. Anywho, we just got up about 10 minutes before I started writing this, so getting completely “normal” hours back is still a struggle.
