The last week and a half has been extremely busy with friends graduating, holiday preperation and during the excitement WordPress 2.7 has been released.

I am a little sad to say that the theme I am currently using for Atomac hasn’t been updated for the 2.7 features that I am most interested in. So in order to take advantage of the new threaded comments I am going to have to switch it up. I have also decided to do a clean WordPress install. My database has gotten rather messy from the millions of plugins I have tried over the year and a half of running this blog and figured now is a good time to tidy up. Not to worry though, all the articles and comments will be imported to the new WordPress install and I am fairly sure the only difference you all will notice is the new layout.

I’ll go ahead and thank you all now for your patience while I butcher Atomac and get things running properly again.

NAU Graduation 2008

Our friend Willow graduated from Northern Arizona University with a Bachelor of Arts in English. While my little Casio Exlim Z1050 couldn’t handle taking pictures in the Skydome, she lent PolyVector her awesome Pentax K20D DSLR to take pictures during the ceremony.

Back in San Diego Safe and Sound

We made it back home to San Diego Sunday night. Willow’s graduation was awesome. My camera couldn’t cut it in the stadium so PolyVector took pictures using Willow’s Pentax DSLR, will post a link ASAP.

Heading to Flagstaff for a Graduation

In the morning PolyVector and I are heading off to Flagstaff, Arizona to see our super awesome friend Willow graduate from Northern Arizona University on Friday. You can track our journey via Twitter. I am packing my camera (and I am sure Willow will be having one of us take some pics with her new DSLR camera) and will hopefully find some time to post some pictures on our Picasa Web Album. if I don’t get the chance in Flagstaff you can definitely expect them up when we return.

WordPress 2.6.5 was released patching up an XSS security hole. Atomac is up and running with the new version, so if you spot anything gone awry please let us know.
