Back when I was first deciding on what free photo hosting and sharing service I was going to use one of the biggest things that weighted my decisions was the availability of a plugin for iPhoto. All my images I take with my camera that I would possibly want to share with the good folks that read this blog are organized in the iPhoto application that comes with iLife. It s by far my favorite photo organizer. Naturally I have heard a great deal about flickr (especially since my good friend MegaNice9 started using I had even considered giving it a shot) I signed up for an account and gave it a try. I noticed that uploading my photos without the use of iPhoto was quite tedious. I had heard about the FlickrExport for iPhoto but once I saw the price tag ($22 USD) I was not willing to go that route. I immediately went looking for other services that would support iPhoto. I began using Picasa Web Albums by Google since their official app came with a plugin that supported exporting directly in iPhoto. And thus far I have been extremely happy with my choice. Since I am sticking with Picasa Web Albums (I prefer having unlimited albums for free rather than pay for that on flickr) I thought I would show those of you that do use flickr and iPhoto this nice free plugin for exporting. Go snag it at the developers site. If anyone gives it a go and wants to share how well it performs I would love to hear about it in the comments.
