Time Capsules are Preparing for Shipment

The internet has been buzzing with announcements of Apple holding a little media get together for the iPhone SDK on March 6th, and others have been asking “What about the Time Capsule?” For some reason all those Apple and Tech sites out there haven’t even touched on the pre-orders are now getting reading for shipping.

Thanks to Delivery Status (a Mac OS X Dashboard widget), I was notified today that our Time Capsule is actually being prepared to ship. So, I just either have missed everyone jumping on the fact that their new toys are getting ready to join their electronic family, or everyone is just crazy over the iPhone SDK.

Anywho, I am super excited to get this. So Apple, please hurry and send out my baby!

First iPod, then Mac PCs became popular again, now this. That is really very neat. Too bad I don’t have a Mac of my own to use that kind of gadgetry, but with my pc… all my important stuff is stored elsewhere… so I’m cool.. :P
    Two thumbs up from me!

It’s gonna be great to not have to remember to back up your files, to have it done automatically for you. Parsnipper has been backing up our files with Mozy and it seems to be working well for our small needs. In your case, there is the need for constant back-ups. I hope you enjoy your latest tool.

  3. For a while now I’ve been using Interarchy/mozy for my automated backups. The newer versions of Interarchy have a tabbed interface that I don’t think I like… When you have many automated synchronizations running, you wind up with a mess of windows and tabs opening which can be overwhelming… I’m hoping that Time Machine/Capsule will simplify the majority of my backups. :D
