Panama “Sieta Dias de Bellota’
I absolutely adore coffees from Panama, they are intense! The “Sieta Dias de Bellota” has left me with just that, a week of wonderfully beautiful coffee.

We’ve tried quite a few Bourbon cultivars, and this Guatemala Bourbon is probably the best and most distinct I’ve had so far.
What a surprise the Colombia Tolima turned out to be. My previous encounter with Colombian coffee didn’t turn out to be something I was impressed with for espresso. I don’t think I’ve come across a more comforting coffee so far.
It’s amazing how many coffees I have yet to try from different countries. I never would have dreamed how much variety there was in home roasting. The Costa Rica Finca La Ponderosa is easily one of my favorites. Even with the heat, this makes one fantastic caffĂ© americano.
The Burundi Kayanza Bwayi has got to be one of my favorite lighter roasted coffees to have as straight espresso. The texture is so creamy. Once you start adding water for an Americano, or milk it changes to a more delicate coffee.
I’m a litte bummed I wasn’t able to get a picture of our latest coffee. This was my first time trying a “Cup of Excellence” (CoE). In fact, I’m still learning exactly what that is.
